Epileptik Mix 07 - Mark N - Under Sufferance [2003]

Epileptik Mix 07 - Mark N - Under Sufferance [2003]

A recent favorite mix of mine, put out by Mark N. The world DMC champion bringing a great mix of breakcore/hardcore to this release. I had the pleasure to see him play in Madison over Labor day weekend and it was just phenomenal, outside of the fact that it was really hot in the place but totally worth it.
Here is the track list:
01 I:gor - End Of Days
02 Epsilon - No Try
03 Traffik - Bit Stream
04 I:gor - I Don't Give A Fuck
05 Doormouse - Gay
06 Noize Creator - Let The Rhythm Pump
07 Disassembler - Cold Hate
08 FFF - Soundwaves Are Reversing
09 Rude Ass Tinker - Silk Ties
10 Maladroit - Puppet Masta
11 Epsilon - Swimmingliver Drunk
12 Template - 21%
13 Syndicate - Grim Reaper (Remix)
14 Fraughman - I Don't Belong
15 Minion - Feeling A Bit Numb
16 Astro & Physics - Movement I (Overcast Remix)
17 Doormouse - Skelechairs

Team Seaslug - 10/27/07 recordings

Team Seaslug - 10/27/07

Here are the last two tracks me and Tyler did a year ago. Two 15 min tracks of perverse Azumanga worship harsh distorted low end circuit bent mess. I'm pretty sure this will never see the light of day as an actual release so here you go. Maybe new tracks will be recorded soon, but who knows.
Mania - Armed To The Teeth

Mania - Armed To The Teeth
Harsh electronics and field recordings from the Oklahoma Full Auto Shoot & Trade Show 06. Really cool concept album, and one of the best releases this year on Troniks IMO. Support the label and buy if you really like it!

It's been a while since my last post, but here is most of the Invisibl Skratch Piklz recorded stuff. I just put it all in one giant .rar file. The Invisible Skratch Piklz were the dj super group that consisted of DJ Q-Bert, Mix Master Mike, Yogafrog, Shortkut, D-styles, and DJ Disk. To sum up the skills of the Piklz, they were asked to stop competing in the DMC because all the other DJs knew they didn't have a chance against them. The .rar contains all five volumes of the Shiggar Fragger show, and the legendary battle against the X-Men. Hope you like them!

4 albums of grim darkness.

ensepulchred - the night our rituals blackened the star

Ensepulchred pull off that USBM style stuff, but with a more organ driven sound. This 3 piece cuts though 9 song in just over 38 min. Very cold and chilling sound that doesn't come off as being too cheesy.

wolfmangler - dwelling in a dead raven for the glory of crucified wolves

Wolfmangler is an assault of bowed double bass, electric bass, and violin merge with growls and whispered lyrics. This 4 piece twisted blend of folk and doom slowly crawls its way through 51 and a half minutes with 6 songs.

dead raven choir - sevenfold songs of death

Dead raven choir is the solo assault of D. Smolken. DRC brings you 30 minutes of white noise and distortion laced guitars with unintelligible vocals underneath. A lot of people wouldn't really recommend this album for his first, but since I love harsh noise as well as black metal I thought it was great. Very uncompromising and hard to take it, which is what makes this album one of my favorites.

Wyrd Visions - Half-Eaten Guitar

Wyrd Visions is a one man solo acoustic out of Canada by a man called Colin Bergh. WV originally started as a black metal cover band, but Bergh started also writing his own material. Half-Eaten Guitar is full of repetitive riffs, slow builds that never quite climax and meditative, trance-inducing vocals. One of the songs on the ep is a cover of Mayhem's - Freezing Moon. Half-Eaten Guitar is a long ep. 41:15 with only 5 songs. This album is my favorite of the 4 I just upped. Every listen I just get lost in the dual layered vocals and repetitive guitars.

the magnetic fields - 69 love songs (vol.1-3)

As the sprawling magnitude of its cheeky title suggests, 69 Love Songs is Stephin Merritt's most ambitious as well as most fully realized work to date, a three-disc epic of classically chiseled pop songs that explore both the promise and pitfalls of modern romance through the jaundiced eye of an irredeemable misanthrope.

The magnetic fields are now my favorite new band and have been for a little while. their song writing is genious, along with the lyrics that jump around from being happy to really depressing and mournful. The reason i uploaded this collection is because to me it shows their greatest musical effort to date, though this album does not contain my favorite song of theirs. The songs go from folky, bluesy, and indie pop so there is a good mix of stuff and not 69 songs that all sound the same. enjoy!

Baron Zen - At The Mall (2006)

Sweet Steve is the man behind Baron Zen. His recording career as Baron Zen lasted from 1988 to 1992, the best of which is collected on this album. He was ahead of his time in the ‘80s, but the times have been threatening to catch up with him. Baron Zen today sounds like the missing link between PIL and DFA, or sububan punk rock garage bands of the 80s and the DJ culture of today ... or The Dead Milkmen if they had been hip hop b-boys.

born against live on WFMU

Born Against IMO were one of the best punk bands ever. amazing lyrics and they took punk/hardcore to a whole dif. level. This pack is 2 different recordings of them live on WFMU. They went on to other amazing bands including Men's Recovery Project, Wrangler Brutes and many others.
